Skel Osmani

I am Skel Osmani. I was born in Ohrid, North Macedonia, and raised in Zurich, Switzerland. 
In 2018, I completed my three-year acting training in New York. The experience was very fulfilling and highly educational for me. I also had the chance to practice my English, which makes me fluent in German, Albanian, and English. I can also communicate in French and Serbo-Croatian, but not as well as the three other languages mentioned. 

Currently, I am located in Zurich, but I also travel back and forth between Los Angeles and New York. I don’t mind going where the work is. 
I caught the acting bug early on in my life doing school plays. While other children would babble out their memorized lines, I would ask my teacher all sorts of questions about the character. 
“Not too shabby for an 8-year-old”. She reminds me of it now and then when I saw her in my hometown. 

What I like most about acting, is the endless capacity to learn and to grow. Not only as an actor or artist but also as a human being. It connects people from all over the world, no matter their race, religion, or nationality. 
It begins with an ordinary breathing exercise and ends with the dissection of the human psyche and spirit. And perhaps with the conclusion that our desires aren’t that different after all. 
And my fellow actors would agree with me on this, nothing feels better than being present. 
In the moment, where one is supposed to be and feel.
